I believe in truth above all else. Honor in your commitments and actions. Loyalty that is reciprocal. Morality in your conduct. And, the trinity of the Father, the Son and the Holy Ghost. I believe in Family. In protecting and defending them, yourself and others. I believe in doing what is ethically right and just. I believe in continuous learning and teaching those that are open to it.

I have interests in a great many things, to include self-sufficiency, the skills of our ancestors, and the knowledge to live off-grid. I love the outdoors and am particularly fond of water (ocean, lakes, and rivers). I’m as at home in the woods as I am in my living room. I’m interested in small-scale farming, raising livestock and harvesting clean water.

I created this blog to share in the knowledge and skills that I have, as well as to catalog and learn new skills and information together. I believe that there are many ways to accomplish different tasks and skills. My way of doing something is not necessarily “THE” way to do it, but rather “A” way to do it. I will make mistakes along the way, but that’s part of the learning process. Together we can make the process of learning new information a fun and enjoyable experience.
